How to
Three steps, and the settings.
Every setting below is one the studio really has.

- 2Choose Spotlight, and draw round what matters

- A rectangle or a circle; everything outside dims

- Softens the region you draw

What it isn't
There's no one-click "blur everything except this". Spotlight dims the outside; Blur softens only what you draw over.

Several at once
Draw more than one spotlight, or a spotlight and a lens, and they combine.

For hiding, use Redact
Blur here is for focus. To hide something private, black it out in Redact.

Yes — switch the spotlight's shape to a circle.
Is it free?
