What is FyShot?
A screenshot studio in your browser: mark screenshots up, hide what's private, set them on backgrounds or in devices, size them for where they're going, and export them.
How do I get a screenshot in?
Paste it with ⌘V or Ctrl+V, drop it on the page, or open a file — up to 25 MB. Or start from code with "From code".
Can I change a mark later?
Yes. Every annotation and redaction is a layer you can select, edit or delete until you export.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes — the studio has a phone layout, with the library and the inspector in drawers.
Your screenshots
Where they go.
Are my screenshots uploaded?
Not to edit or export them — that happens in your browser. Cloud projects (Cloud Pro) keep them in your FyDrive; the AI tools send them to FyAI.
What does a share link share?
The look: background, frame and layout. Not your screenshot — the person who opens it brings their own.
Is redaction safe?
It's burned into the export. For text, use blackout; blur and mosaic keep a shape.
What does FyShot keep on my machine?
Your brand kit, saved presets and canvas sizes, and your recent screenshots, in this browser. With Cloud Pro, the brand kit, fonts, presets and sizes sync across devices.

What comes out.
Which formats?
PNG, JPG and WebP, at 1× to 4×, free. PDF and SVG on Cloud Pro. GIF, MP4 and WebM motion on Cloud Pro.
Is there a watermark on free exports?
No. Free exports come out clean.
Can I export every store size at once?
On Cloud Pro: a size set renders the same design at every size in it and zips them.
Is the SVG a real vector?
The frame around it is; the screenshot inside stays a picture, as it always was.

What does Cloud Pro add?
Every store size, 24 templates, 7 more frames and your own fonts; size sets as zips; PDF and SVG; motion export; cloud projects with history; share links; and AI.
What do the AI tools do?
Suggest a headline, a palette, a light touch-up, a crop, a frame, alt text, or regions to redact — you accept or drop each one. 500 runs a month.
What's the Team plan?
Cloud Pro for each seat, on one bill.
Can I buy just FyShot?
Yes — Cloud Pro and Team are sold per tool, or as the FyTools suite.

What FyShot doesn't do.
Can it take the screenshot?
No — no screen capture, scrolling capture or screen recording. Take it, then paste it in.
Can it read text in a screenshot?
No OCR. AI Redact PII spots private details to hide, but there's no copy-text-out.
Are there comments for my team?
Not as a shared feature yet — comments are kept in your browser today.
Does "Generate background" make a picture?
No — it turns your prompt into a colour palette and a gradient.
